Support Technician

The Role:

This position is a key role for Ambersphere Solutions and would best suit a recent graduate with a passion for customer service and working with a variety of lighting equipment both old and new. This person will be part of a front line training and support team both office based and in the field. The role will be primarily based in the London office, but may involve some travel around the UK to provide support or training where needed. 

The role will be primarily looking after technical support for customers by phone, email and occasionally on site. Additionally this person will be required to run occasional training courses and perform basic repairs on various equipment to support the existing service team.

The successful applicant will  have a positive attitude, be technically competent, reliable and preferably with experience in advanced control solutions and moving light technology. Previous experience of technical support would also be preferable. Full driving licence will be preferable. 

Full product training will be given however an entertainment technology background would be an advantage. 

The Person:

With strong interests in either technical support or lighting control systems you will be a keen self-motivated team player. With full training given by us, in depth knowledge of our systems, whilst advantageous, is not as important as the right attitude to client support and company ethos. Excellent written and oral communication skills will be required. Only applicants with permanent rights of residency and work in the UK need apply.

Ambersphere Solutions Ltd is the exclusive UK sales, support, service and training centre for Astera, Ayrton, Clay Paky, MA Lighting, Robert Juliat and Zactrack.

The Package:

Salary will be in line with experience along with access to a companywide bonus scheme after a qualifying period. All the necessary business tools will be provided and Ambersphere Solutions offer 5 weeks annual holiday.
